Target Information
Luteinizing hormone (LH) is a hormone produced by gonadotropin cells in the anterior pituitary gland. The production of LH is regulated by gonadotropin releasing hormone (GnRH) from the hypothalamus. Research indicated that LH and ovarian steroids modulate Prostaglandin (PG) production in equine myometrial and endometrial tissues and affect PG synthase expression at the mRNA level.
