Target Information

In sheep, Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor Receptor 2 is encoded by the KDR gene and serves as the primary receptor for VEGF-A. Studies indicate that in fetal sheep, the VEGFR-2 receptor is situated in the lamina propria of the villous core in the fetal small intestine, an area comprising an arteriole, a venule, a capillary network, and a lacteal.
