Target Information

Interleukin-1B: Interleukin-1B (IL-1B) is a pro-inflammatory cytokine belonging to the Interleukin-1 family. It is produced primarily by immune cells, such as monocytes, macrophages, and dendritic cells, in response to infection, injury, or inflammation. Interleukin 1B is encoded by the IL1B gene in goats. It is a cytokine involved in Toll-like receptor signaling pathways. IL-1B acts as a potent mediator of the inflammatory response by inducing expression of other pro-inflammatory molecules and promoting recruitment of immune cells to sites of inflammation.
