Vitamin A exists in different forms, including retinol, retinal, and retinyl esters. Preformed vitamin A (retinol and retinyl esters) is found in animal products like dairy, liver, and fish. Supplementing ewes in summer breeding season with vitamin A could be better strategy to increase reproductive efficiency.
