Target Species Swine
Species Reactivity Swine
Detection Range 80.125-5000 pg/mL
Sensitivity 15.6 pg/mL
Reproducibility Intra-Assay: CV < 10%; Inter-Assay: CV < 10%

Target Information

Lipocalin 2, also known as neutrophil gelatinase-associated lipocalin, is encoded by the LCN2 gene in pigs. Research has shown that the decrease in the relative weight of perirenal adipose tissues was associated with a decline in mRNA levels of FASN, ME, LCN2 and TLR4 in pigs housed in poor conditions compared with pigs housed in good conditions.

Target/Biomarker Porcine LCN2
Target Synonym lipocalin 2; neutrophil gelatinase-associated lipocalin
Gene ID 100153501
UniProt ID A0A287BJ65
