Target Information
Ribonuclease A (RNase A), often abbreviated as RNase, is an endoribonuclease enzyme that specifically cleaves single-stranded RNA molecules. It plays a vital role in various cellular processes. RNase A breaks down single-stranded RNA molecules into smaller fragments, facilitating their recycling and removal within the cell. Ribonuclease A is a pancreatic ribonuclease that can cut single-stranded RNA. RNASE1 may be involved in the maturation of the gastrointestinal tract of cattles.
