Target Information

In felines, leucine-rich repeat and calponin homology domain-containing Protein 1 (LRCH1) is a protein with leucine-rich repeats and a calponin homology domain. LRCH1 plays a role in the immune system by binding to LAT and negatively regulating TCR signaling, which affects CD8+ T cell proliferation and cytotoxicity. Studies show that LRCH1 deficiency enhances CD8+ T cell responses against infections and tumors, promoting cytokine secretion and cell infiltration. Additionally, LRCH1 may be involved in neuroinflammation regulation.
