Target Information
Lysophospholipid Acyltransferase 5 (LPAR5), which is also known as LPLAT5, is a protein involved in lipid metabolism. LPLAT5 is a member of the lysophospholipid acyltransferase (LPLAT) family. Bovine Lysophospholipid Acyltransferase 5 is encoded by the LPCAT3 gene in cattle. It is a critical determinant of triglyceride secretion due to its unique ability to catalyze the incorporation of arachidonate into membranes.
