Target Information

Bovine Polycystin-2 is encoded by the PKD2 gene in cattle. Polycystin-2 is a member of the polycystin protein family and belongs to the transient receptor potential (TRP) channels superfamily. It contains multiple transmembrane domains and has cytoplasmic N- and C-termini. This protein is an integral membrane protein involved in cell-cell/matrix interactions. It is related to calcium homeostasis and involved in mitotic cell cycle process.
