Target Information
Protein Reprimo (RPRM), also known as TP53 Dependent G2 Arrest Mediator Homolog, is a protein involved in cell cycle regulation and tumor suppression. Reprimo is induced by p53 and plays a role in cell cycle arrest at the G2/M checkpoint. It inhibits CDK1 activity and prevents the nuclear translocation of the CDC2 cyclin B1 complex. Bovine Protein Reprimo is encoded by the RPRM gene in cattle. It is a pleiotropic gene involved in suppression of cancer, regulation of mitotic cell cycle, cell cycle arrest and regulation of survival.
