Target Information

Transforming growth factor β1 (TGFβ1) is a polypeptide in the transforming growth factor β cytokine superfamily. It is a secreted protein that has many cellular functions, including controlling cell growth, cell proliferation, cell differentiation, and apoptosis. Research suggested that TGFβ1 induced myofibroblastic differentiation (MVD phenotype) of canine MVIC in 3D culture.
