Target Information

Vascular endothelial growth factor A is encoded by the VEGFA gene in goats. This protein is a glycosylated mitogen that specifically targets endothelial cells and has multiple effects, including enhancing vascular permeability, inducing angiogenesis and vasculogenesis, promoting endothelial cell growth, facilitating cell migration, and inhibiting apoptosis.
