Target Information

Interleukin-13 (IL-13) is a protein encoded by the IL13 gene. It is secreted by a variety of cells, especially T helper cell type 2 (Th2), and it is an important mediator of allergic inflammation and diseases. Research showed that the brusal expression level of IL-13 in chickens infected with Clostridium perfringens CP5 increased.
