Target Information

Activating transcription factor 6 (ATF6) is a transcription factor anchored in the endoplasmic reticulum (ER) membrane. It becomes activated through proteolysis in response to ER stress. As an ER stress-regulated transmembrane transcription factor, ATF6 plays a key role in initiating the transcription of ER-related molecules. In ducks, this protein is encoded by the ATF6 gene.
