Target Information

Leukotriene B4 (LTB4) is a leukotriene involved in inflammation. It is produced by leukocytes in response to inflammatory mediators and is able to induce adhesion and activation of leukocytes to the endothelium, allowing them to bind to the endothelium and enter the tissue. Previous research has shown that there is a increased production of LTB4 in airways of recurrent airway obstruction-affected horses.
