Target Information

RELA, also referred to as p65, plays a crucial role in NF-κB heterodimer formation, nuclear translocation, and activation. As a member of the canonical NF-κB family, p65 is considered a key regulator of viral infection. In zebrafish, NF-κB-an essential transcription factor complex-participates in various cellular processes, including cellular metabolism and chemotaxis. Notably, it orchestrates the antiviral response, activating both proinflammatory genes and antiviral genes, such as IFN.
