Target Information

Chicken CD3 is a protein complex that plays a pivotal role in the activation of T lymphocytes in chickens. It is a component of the T cell receptor (TCR) complex and is essential for the recognition of antigens presented by major histocompatibility complex (MHC) molecules. cCD3 functions as a signal transduction molecule, initiating intracellular signaling cascades upon TCR engagement with antigen-MHC complexes. This leads to T cell activation, proliferation, and differentiation into effector T cells, which are critical for adaptive immunity.
