Target Information

Annexin A2, also known as annexin II, is encoded by the ANXA2 gene in pigs. Annexin A2 is a member of the annexin family of calcium-dependent proteins expressed in many cells, which share structural and functional features. It is involved in cell motility, especially that of epithelial cells. Research has shown that annexin A2 is upregulated expressed in porcine alveolar macrophages infected with PRRSV.
