Target Information

Caspase 3 is encoded by the CASP3 gene in pigs. It was first identified as a 32-kDa putative cysteine protease (CPP32) with significant homology to Caenorhabditis elegans cell death protein (Ced-3) and mammalian interleukin-1b (IL-1b) converting enzyme (ICE) (caspase-1).
