Target Information
Chicken epithelial cell adhesion molecule (EpCAM), also known as CD326, is a type I transmembrane glycoprotein that plays a significant role in cell adhesion and signaling. It is a Ca2+-independent homotypic cell adhesion molecule expressed in various epithelial tissues and is also a marker for stem cells and progenitor cells. EpCAM is involved in multiple biological processes, including cell proliferation, differentiation, organ formation, and maintenance.
