BioVenic mouse anti-equine MLANA monoclonal antibody is designed to recognize equine melan-A protein. The antibody can be used in the application of flow cytometry, immunofluorescence, and immunohistochemistry. The antibody can be used to identify melanocytic lesions and to better understand the underlying mechanisms of melanoma development and progression in horses.

Melan-A is a protein associated with melanocytes, the pigment-producing cells responsible for melanin production. Melan-A is a useful marker for studying melanocytes and melanoma in horses and can aid in the diagnosis and management of equine melanocytic lesions.
Shipping and Storage
This product is shipped with gel ice packs. It is recommended to aliquot and store at -20°C on receipt. (up to 12 months). Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody. Storage in frost-free freezers is not recommended.
