Target Information

Interleukin 16 (IL-16), also known as lymphocyte chemoattractant factor or LCF is a pro-inflammatory cytokine that is chemotactic for CD4+ T lymphocytes, monocytes, and eosinophils in swine. IL-16 plays an important role in contributing to the regulatory process of CD41 cell recruitment and activation at sites of inflammation in association with asthma and several autoimmune diseases.
