Target Information

Aspergillosis is a sporadic fungal infection caused by several environmentally ubiquitous species of Aspergillus. Among domestic animals, Aspergillus fumigatus is the most common culprit. The mitochondrial enzyme Superoxide dismutase [Mn] plays a crucial role by eliminating superoxide anion radicals, which are normally produced within cells and are toxic to biological systems.
