Target Information

Bovine alkaline phosphatase (ALP) is a membrane-bound glycoprotein enzyme that plays a crucial role in various physiological processes in cattle. It is involved in the hydrolysis of phosphate monoesters at basic pH values, particularly important for bone mineralization and intestinal phosphate absorption. ALP is also essential for the detoxification of lipopolysaccharides (LPS), which can help in managing inflammatory responses. In veterinary medicine, Bovine ALP is significant for maintaining bone health, supporting digestive function, and potentially in the treatment of sepsis-induced conditions due to its role in LPS neutralization.
