Target Information

Equine vascular endothelial growth factor A (VEGFA) is a protein that plays a critical role in angiogenesis, the process of forming new blood vessels from pre-existing ones. It is essential for tissue repair, regeneration, and the development of the equine embryo. In veterinary medicine, VEGFA is significant for managing conditions affecting blood vessel health and may be targeted in therapies for promoting wound healing and treating diseases like arthritis.
