Target Information
Bovine chymotrypsin-C, also known as chymase, is a serine protease primarily found in the pancreas of Bovines. It is similar to chymotrypsin and is involved in the digestion of proteins by breaking peptide bonds at the carboxyl end of aromatic amino acids such as tyrosine, phenylalanine, and tryptophan. Chymotrypsin-C plays a crucial role in the digestive process, contributing to the breakdown of dietary proteins into smaller peptides and amino acids, which can then be absorbed by the body. It is also used in research for protein digestion and peptide mapping, and in the pharmaceutical industry for the production of specific peptide sequences.
Shipping and Storage
