Target Information

Bovine complement component 1 Q subcomponent-binding protein, mitochondrial (C1QBP) is a multifunctional protein predominantly localized in the mitochondrial matrix of Bovine cells. This protein is essential for maintaining mitochondrial homeostasis, oxidative phosphorylation, and nuclear-mitochondrial interactions. It also plays a role in inflammation, immune responses, and has been implicated in the regulation of cancer cell chemotaxis and metastasis. C1QBP's interaction with various ligands and its presence in different cellular compartments suggest its involvement in a wide array of cellular processes, including intracellular transport and signal transduction.
