Target Information

In chickens, LEPR (Leptin Receptor) is mainly involved in regulating appetite, energy metabolism, and ovarian follicle development. It activates the JAK-STAT3 signaling pathway by binding to Leptin, affecting the expression of appetite-regulating genes, thereby regulating feed intake. In addition, the expression of LEPR in the ovary is related to follicle development and egg-laying performance, and its signal transduction can inhibit the excessive development of ovarian follicles.
