Target Information

Bovine interferon alpha-G (IFNAG) is a member of the type I interferon family, which plays a vital role in the innate immune response of cattle against viral infections. This protein is produced by host cells in response to pathogens and helps to trigger the immune system's protective defenses. IFNAG contributes to the activation of immune cells, enhances antigen presentation to T lymphocytes, and increases the resistance of uninfected host cells to viral infections. It is also involved in modulating inflammation and the overall immune response within the Bovine organism.
