Target Information
Interleukin 12B is encoded by the IL12B gene in horses. Interleukin-12 (IL-12) is a cytokine produced naturally by various immune cells, including dendritic cells, macrophages, neutrophils, and B-lymphoblastoid cells in response to antigenic stimulation. IL12 plays a key role in the differentiation of type 1 helper T cells and enhances CTL responses through its effects on the induction of IFN-γ production.
