Feline Inhibin Beta A Chain (INHBA) is a member of the TGF-β superfamily, involved in regulating gonadal hormone secretion, cell proliferation, and tissue development. In cats, INHBA forms activin A, which regulates follicle-stimulating hormone secretion and influences reproductive functions. It also plays roles in embryonic development, immune response, and tissue homeostasis. Additionally, INHBA is implicated in cancer progression through mechanisms like epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT) and TGF-β signaling.
