Target Information
Feline tumor necrosis factor (TNF) is a critical cytokine involved in the inflammatory response and immune system regulation in cats. It plays a pivotal role in the cat's defense against infections and neoplasia by promoting inflammation, regulating cell proliferation, and inducing apoptosis in target cells. TNF is also implicated in the pathogenesis of various diseases, including inflammatory bowel disease, and can stimulate mesenchymal stem cells to modulate immune responses and ameliorate colitis in mice models.
