Target Information

Shigella primarily causes disease in primates and does not affect other mammals. Shigella flexneri is one of the species within the Shigella genus. Alongside Shigella sonnei, it accounts for 90% of shigellosis cases. Glutaredoxin 4 is a monothiol glutaredoxin involved in the biogenesis of iron-sulfur clusters.
