Target Information
Swine albumin (ALB) is the most abundant protein in the plasma of pigs, synthesized by the liver, and plays a critical role in maintaining plasma oncotic pressure, regulating the distribution of body fluids, and transporting small molecules. It is involved in various physiological processes, including the transport of fatty acids, hormones, and drugs, and contributes to the maintenance of vascular integrity and fluid balance.
