Target Information

Interleukin-1 Beta is encoded by the IL1B gene in zebrafish. Earlier studies revealed that zebrafish mutants with myeloid defects experience apoptosis in regenerative cells during fin fold regeneration. This apoptotic phenotype is attributed to the extended expression of interleukin 1 beta (il1b).
