Target Information

Isoaspartyl peptidase 1 (ASRGL1), also known as L-asparagine amidohydrolase, is an enzyme that possesses the activity of hydrolyzing L-asparagine and isoaspartyl dipeptides. Abnormal expression of ASRGL1 has been found in invasive ductal carcinoma. It serves as a biomarker for early diagnosis. Bovine L-asparaginase is encoded by the ASRGL1 gene in cattle. It catalyzes the hydrolysis of L-asparagine to L-aspartic acid and ammonia.
