Target Information

Cyclin-Dependent Kinase 4 (CDK4) is a protein-coding gene that belongs to the cyclin-dependent kinase family. CDK4 phosphorylates the retinoblastoma protein (Rb), allowing progression from the G1 phase to the S phase. Bovine Cyclin-Dependent Kinase 4 is encoded by the CDK4 gene in cattle. It is a member of cyclin-dependent kinases which are protein kinases regulating important cellular processes such as cell cycle and transcription.

Target/Biomarker Bovine CDK4
Target Synonym cyclin dependent kinase 4; cyclin-dependent kinase 4; cell division protein kinase 4
Gene ID 510618
