Target Information

FCGR2B (Fc fragment of IgG receptor IIb) is a low-affinity inhibitory receptor for the Fc region of immunoglobulin gamma. It participates in the phagocytosis of immune complexes and regulation of antibody production by B lymphocytes. Bovine Fc Gamma Receptor IIb is encoded by the FCGR2B gene in cattle. It was associated with milk production traits in Chinese Holstein cows through GWAS study.
