Target Information

Bovine Fermitin Family Homolog 3 is encoded by the FERMT3 gene in cattle. Kindlin-3 is a member of the FERMT family, which includes kindlin-1 (FERMT1) and kindlin-2 (FERMT2). It plays a crucial role in integrin activation. Specifically expressed in hematopoietic cells, kindlin-3 interacts with integrins and contributes to cell adhesion and migration. It is involved in platelet function and αIIbβ3 integrin activation mechanisms.

Target/Biomarker Bovine FERMT3
Target Synonym FERM domain containing kindlin 3; URP2; fermitin family homolog 3; UNC-112 related protein 2; fermitin family member 3; kindlin-3; unc-112-related protein 2
