Target Information

Nuclear factor kappa B subunit 1 (NFKB1), also known as p105, is a protein encoded by the NFKB1 gene in cattle. It plays an important role in cellular inflammation and immune responses. It is activated in the nucleus and promotes cellular inflammation by increasing the expression of proinflammatory cytokines. H₂O₂ activates the NFKB1 gene in bovine blastocysts, which reduces their quality by inducing apoptosis.
