Target Information

Bovine Peptidyl-Prolyl Cis-Trans Isomerase A is encoded by the PPIA gene in cattle. PPIA belongs to the peptidyl-prolyl cis-trans isomerase (PPIase) family. Its primary role is to catalyze the cis-trans isomerization of proline imidic peptide bonds. PPIA is ubiquitously expressed in the rat brain and also associates with a variety of biologically important events such as immunomodulation, intracellular signaling, transcriptional regulation and protein trafficking.
