Target Information
Bovine Proteasome Subunit Beta Type-8 is encoded by the PSMB8 gene in cattle. This gene encodes a member of the proteasome B-type family, also known as the T1B family, that is a 20S core beta subunit. The PSMB8 protein has a significant clinical role in autoimmune diseases and inflammatory reactions. It is also known as LMP7, and is a member of INFgamma-inducible proteasomal subunits. Steady-state amounts of LMP7 mRNA did not change during the estrous cycle in the bovine corpus luteum.
