Target Information

Butyrylcholinesterase is encoded by the BCHE gene in dogs. Research showed that short-term weight loss in obese intact female Beagle dogs resulted in opposite effects in 2 cholinesterase isoenzyme activities, namely lower BChE and higher AChE activities.
