Target Information

Fatty acid binding protein 2, also known as fatty acid-binding protein intestinal, is encoded by the FABP2 gene in chickens. Research showed that supplementing different levels of coated essential oils and organic acids mixture notably up-regulated FABP-2 mRNA levels in the ileum of the infected chickens after Salmonella Enteritidis challenge.
