Target Information

Insulin like growth factor binding protein 1 (IGFBP1), also known as amniotic fluid binding protein (AFBP), is encoded by the IGFBP1 gene. It is expressed at different concentrations in different tissues and is thought to regulate IGFI and II activity. In Taihe black-bone silky fowls, IGFBP1 was identified as one of the important genes that would affect reproductive performance and ovarian development.
