Target Information

α-Tocopherol (alpha-tocopherol) is a type of vitamin E (VE). It is the most prevalent form of VE which is involved in molecular, cellular, biochemical processes closely related to overall lipoprotein and lipid homeostasis. α-Tocopherol serves as a universal methyl donor in various biochemical reactions. α-Tocopherol is the form of vitamin E with the highest biological value and is used almost exclusively as vitamin E in feed and feed supplements.
