Target Information
Porcine VAV 2 guanine nucleotide exchange factor (pVAV2) is a member of the VAV family of proteins, which function as guanine nucleotide exchange factors (GEFs) for the Rho/Rac family of GTPases. VAV2 plays a critical role in signaling pathways that regulate a variety of cellular processes, including cell proliferation, differentiation, and actin cytoskeleton rearrangements. As a research target, pVAV2 is significant for understanding the molecular mechanisms that control immune cell activation, as it is particularly involved in T-cell signaling. It mediates signals from cell surface receptors to the nucleus, contributing to the regulation of the immune response.
