Swine major histocompatibility complex (MHC) I, also known as Swine Leukocyte Antigen (SLA) class I is a type of MHC cluster in porcine species. It binds and presents antigens to circulating MHC I-restricted cytotoxic T lymphocytes (CTLs), playing an important role in porcine cellular immune responses against viruses and other intracellular pathogens.
