Target Information

Melatonin is a hormone produced by the pineal gland in the brain. Its levels naturally fluctuate throughout the day and night, helping regulate our body clock. It is a hormone that regulates the day/night or sleep/wake cycle. Research has shown that the rapid nocturnal increase in circulating melatonin in sheep is associated with an equally rapid increase in melatonin production in the pineal gland.
