Target Information

The common rabbit pinworm, scientifically known as Passalurus ambiguus, is an intestinal parasite found in rabbits. It generally does not pose a significant health risk and often remains undetected in both domestic and wild rabbits. This oxyurid parasite inhabits the caecum and large intestine, with adult worms reaching sizes of 5-10 mm. They are not harmful to adult rabbits.
